System 7 Logo Scrapbook and ResEdit Resource file.
For those of you, like me, who like the System 7 logo - I include here my version of this APPLE COMPUTER logo. Yes, as we all know, this and other nifty logos are actually the property of APPLE COMPUTER INC. But then, they didn't do this for us, did they?
I spent a bit of time smoothing so as to give the proper True-Type effect and there are B/W, icl4 and icl8 versions here.
Included, for those who tinker with ResEdit, is the resource file and you all know what to do with it so we won't bore the rest, shall we?
I include a scrapbook file for the unequipped user. Please be careful here.
For those of you who have the mindless Apple Scrapbook Desk Accessory...
1) Make a copy of your current "Scrapbook File", you will find it in your "System Folder". Selecting it and pressing command-D will suffice.
2) Trash the original. (Trust me)
3) Drag the enclosed "Rename to... Scrapbook File" to your "System Folder".
4) Rename it to (you knew this was coming) "Scrapbook File"
5) Open the Scrapbook DA, locate the item you wish to move to your other scrapbook (generally the first one - it contains all the needed resources) and choose COPY.
6) Quit the Scrapbook DA and rename the "Scrapbook File" to "Sys7 Scrap"
7) Rename the copy you made of your original Scrapbook to "Scrapbook File"
8) Open your scrapbook DA once more and PASTE in the Sys 7 Logo.
